Hosting a Seminar

Want to learn more about what we do, how we train, or even become an Affiliate Student/Instructor with KSK?  Hosting a seminar is a great way to get involved!  Seminars give you hands experience with our material and teaching methods.  Seminars can also help break up the routine and breath new life into your classes & training.  We make it fun and easy for your to branch out into a new journey.

TRAINING:

4-Hours per training day.

TOPICS:

• Host may choose the topic(s)
• JKD Concepts: Striking, Trapping, Hubud, Panantukan, Silat, BJJ, Wooden Dummy
• FMA: Stick, Knife, Espada Y Daga, Karambit, Flexible Weapon, Balintawak Concepts
• KSK Specific Rank Requirements (JKD / FMA/ BJJ
• Not sure where to start?  We can arrange a seminar for you based on the goals of the host.

COST:

$1,000 Per Training Day - 50% Deposit to Secure the Date(s), non-refundable.

ADMISSION:

Because the host pays a flat seminar fee, they may charge any admission price they wish and keep 100% of what comes in. We highly recommend offering a "Pre-Registration" option at a slightly lower cost than the "At The Door" fee, to provide incentive for peopleto sign up early.

ADVERTISING:

• KSK will provide a flier for your event via digital copy, for your use.
• KSK will list your event on the Seminar section of our website.
• KSK will create a Facebook Event for your seminar.
• We highly recommend Host takes the same steps as above and advertise through their own networks as well.

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide a clean safe training environment. Dry erase & speaker for music.
• Provide the necessary information needed for us to create your event.
• All travel, lodging, and meal expense for Guro Kent plus one assistant.
• Establishing lodging arrangements. Hotel or Airbnb.
• Balance for seminar fee, and reimbursement for travel expenses if needed, due upon arrival.
